Where do we go from here?

Online I have seen people discuss the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination and the murder of Iryna Zarutska in different manners. I myself have talked about this. On my YouTube channel I uploaded a video called “My thoughts on Charlie Kirk’s Assassination” which is now unlisted. Both this and the article I wrote on it no longer reflect my views. Though the video is now unlisted as it was very hastily made as I was increasing in my anger towards a lot of people. May God forgive me! However after this on the right I’ve seen three sorts of takes on the issue which I think reflect where we can go on this one. With a secret fourth one coming from the best sorts of Orthodox people and especially the Clergy.

1. Revolution: The worst option

The absolute worst option we could take is to start killing people. If you were to decide that we’re going to do that we shall bring much more violence on us much later. This is how we’ll bring about world war III and ultimately The Antichrist. I still hold to my position in the article that we have to be prepared to defend ourselves. However we cannot act first. Be prepared to die as martyrs, hopefully for Christ’s sake. However for your family be prepared to defend them from these attackers.

2. Liberal Take over

Sadly, the most likely way we’re going to beat them is through their own game of the democratic process. However that “victory” won’t be forever. It will just last until the next election cycle. When if we’re concerned about the same concerns as always; and if the public’s care has now shifted from the assassination and the violence in the streets. Now instead its on something else. Then we’ll have to contend with that.

3. Death to Optics

There is a third way. I could write an article about why the solution you don’t want is a political option and WE WILL GET TO THAT. But what is must happen is that the right has to not care about how the media can spin something to look. They are obviously going to call any attempt to enforce the law, racist. To protect children from Marxist ideology, as transphobic. To not fund a literal genocide as either Antisemitic or as Russophilic. To caring about the integrity of your people and its culture as xenophobic and bigoted. However, that is not the case. Their goal is to see if you’ll back down. Because a lot of people under fear of being called that will. And this is because there are some people who were/are like that. However I am not. And most of the people who could run for office who are not like that are not. We shouldn’t care how the media views us as. Because simply put, the demographic of people who consume legacy media is shrinking. What do real people have to say?

4. 3 + Prayer

The final one is probably the best method. Every priest I’ve seen has had the right idea. And every truly Orthodox person I’ve talked to has had the right idea too. Pray for these people. For the soul of Charlie Kirk, for his family, for the assassin, for his family, for the country, for those calling for violence, for those under threat of violence. Do this, and don’t care what the media says about it. Because the media is shrinking. Constantly. They will say that your offers of prayers are really, some how, “stochastic terrorism”. Somehow. And that you’re really calling for violence. Don’t take the bait. Deny that, of course. But do not over emphasize it. And do not drift back into politics when discussing matters of prayer. Approach the matters of politics with prayer, obviously, but don’t assume that the problem is only political. We can completely change this countries system but it will never really change unless we fix the hearts of people.
